About Carolyn Allen

Originally hailing from Manchester, Kentucky, Carolyn Allen is a Louisville resident and valued team member of Becker Law Office. Graduating from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 2016, Carolyn is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in the Western District of Kentucky’s Federal Court. Carolyn’s practice area currently includes nursing home and elder law, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, and complex litigation.

Carolyn’s experience with insurance law dates back several years where she worked at an insurance defense firm. After practicing in the world of insurance defense, Carolyn knew that she was ready to use her skills and knowledge to fight for her fellow Kentuckians. “I saw people who were hurt, really hurt, and they were getting denied the benefits they needed.” Carolyn said when asked why she chose to devote her practice to personal injury, “I want to help people get the compensation they deserve.”

Carolyn is known around the office for her spunk, attention to detail, and sunny disposition. When she isn’t hard at work in the office, you can find her exploring her new home of Louisville with her husband and two dogs, Bennett and Watson. At home, you can catch Carolyn in her vegetable garden and catching up on her reading while digging into a bowl of cookie dough ice cream with her two cats, Pepper and Jack. Carolyn displays true dedication to her clients and has a talent for investigation. She understands that in order to effectively serve their client’s interests, attorneys need to take the time to properly investigate every aspect of a case. “I really enjoy the investigative aspect of working a case,” Carolyn said when asked about her unique attention to detail.

Carolyn’s compassionate nature along with her fastidious dedication to results makes her uniquely qualified to assist clients with every stage of the litigation process. Carolyn can’t wait to talk with her clients, learn their stories, swap pet pictures, and, above all, provide excellent legal advice and service.
