A Danville native and present Louisville resident, Attorney Winfield Frankel has a heart for the Bluegrass and its residents. After his undergraduate education at the University of Kentucky, Winfield travelled to Ohio to obtain a Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law, where he graduated in 2012. Returning to his old Kentucky home, Winfield is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky’s Federal Courts. Winfield’s practice areas now includes a wide variety of personal injury law such as motor vehicle negligence, premise liability, medical malpractice, dram shop, and products liability.
With ten years of experience in personal injury law, Winfield began cultivating his expansive knowledge while working in insurance defense. “As a Plaintiff’s attorney, I have the opportunity to advocate for the people.” He replied, when asked why he joined the Becker Law Team. “Our work improves the community at large by enforcing accountability for negligence and other dereliction of duties.” Winfield’s goal is to make a difference in the lives of his clients and in the lives of those in his community. When he’s not hard at work for his clients, you might catch Winfield spending time travelling with his wife and son. At home, Winfield enjoys munching on trail mix (with M&M’s!) and hiking with his dog, Basil. Winfield has a calling for client advocacy that is apparent in every case that he handles, and he quickly puts others at ease with his friendly nature and upbeat personality. “As lawyers, sometimes we forget about the human aspect when we are focusing on the legal issues surrounding a case. I don’t want to forget that,” he said when asked to speak on his commitment to client communication.
Winfield’s experience, cheery nature, and fierceness in the courtroom make him a perfect fit for the Becker Law Team and maybe even for your case. Winfield can’t wait to meet his clients, learn their stories, and work hard to achieve the results they deserve.
