Alexa Glibbery is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. After attending law school in Louisville, she loved the city so much she decided to make it her home. During law school, Alexa clerked for firms in Cincinnati and Louisville that represent injured clients. After earning her law degree, she decided to dedicate her career to helping victims navigate our legal system, which she describes as “not always user-friendly, and which more often than not seems to favor large corporations over the individual.”

After graduating from law school, Alexa worked as an associate attorney at a local personal injury firm on a variety of cases, including products liability, medical malpractice, nursing home, and car wreck claims.

Alexa started with Becker Law Office in January 2019, where she continues to represent clients that were wrongly injured. When it comes to her clients, Alexa understands what they are going through and what they need from an attorney:

“No one wants to get in a car wreck, and when it happens, you are suddenly faced with a lot of confusing paperwork and a lot of unwelcome communication from insurance companies on top of dealing with an injury and not feeling 100%. Here at Becker Law, we can take the burden of dealing with a car wreck claim off of you, so you can concentrate all of your energy on recovering from your injury and moving on with your life.”

In law school, Alexa served as an Articles Editor for the University of Louisville Law Review. She competed on the negotiation moot court team in 2014. She also served as a writing mentor at Central High School.

Alexa is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Western District of Kentucky and the Eastern District of Kentucky. She currently serves on the board for the Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County and is a member of the Kentucky Justice Association.

In her spare time, Alexa enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, doing cross-stitch and embroidery, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.
